Kristina Neihouse is a full time community college librarian, and a part time book store clerk, writer, reader, crazy cat lady and triathlete. She moved from Portland Maine to Key West Florida in 1995 with Andy Kimball. They hope to never leave. Kristina Neihouse won an Anne McKee Artist Fund Grant for her novel in progress Knowing When to Leave to be published by SeaStory Press in 2018.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Southern Maine and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida. Her short story Squall was published in Key West: A collection. Her short story Lipstick won The Studios of Key West 2014 Writes of Spring competition.
She is a full time librarian at Florida Keys Community College. When not reading, writing or feeding cats, Kristina participates in 5k runs and triathlons. She spends Saturday nights in the Monroe County Detention Center talking with female inmates about writing and life choices.
